Install in three steps
Open the DMG
Double-click the downloaded LidRun.dmg to mount it.
Drag to Applications
Drag the LidRun icon into your Applications folder, like any Mac app.
Launch and activate
Open LidRun from Applications and paste your license key to start.
Why it is not on the App Store
LidRun needs a capability the App Store sandbox does not allow. So we ship it directly, signed and notarized by Apple, which means macOS has already checked it and recognizes it as safe to install.
The one permission it asks for
LidRun asks only for the access it needs to manage sleep and read battery and temperature. Nothing else. No network tracking, no files, no background data collection.
Activate your license key
After checkout your key arrives by email instantly. Open LidRun, paste the key, and it activates on the number of Macs in your plan.
