These terms cover your purchase and use of LidRun, a macOS utility sold outside the App Store. By installing or using LidRun, you agree to them.
Your license
A LidRun purchase is a one-time, lifetime license with lifetime updates. There is no subscription. You may use LidRun on the number of Macs included in your plan.
Plans
Plans differ only by the number of Macs you can activate. Every plan includes the full feature set. A larger plan does not unlock extra features; it simply covers more machines.
Account and license activation
Activating LidRun links your license to a Mac and counts against your plan limit. You can sign in to the account portal to view and deactivate machines so you can move your license to a new Mac yourself.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for how and where you run your Mac, including airflow, placement, power, and following any policy that applies to you. LidRun keeps work running within the limits you configure; it does not supervise your physical setup.
Safety disclaimer
LidRun reduces risk by watching battery level and thermal state and by allowing the Mac to sleep when your thresholds are crossed. It cannot guarantee against hardware issues, overheating, or damage, and it does not control fan speed on every Mac. Please read the safety page before running with the lid closed.
No guarantee
LidRun is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for hardware damage, data loss, lost work, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from using LidRun. Your remedy is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as LidRun evolves. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
