Why LidRun exists
We kept starting long model runs, builds, and overnight jobs, only to come back and find the Mac asleep and the work stalled. The usual fixes either drained the battery or felt like a hack. LidRun is the tool we wished existed: it keeps the Mac awake while real work is running, and gets out of the way when it is not.

Battery and thermal safeguards are on out of the box. LidRun should never be the reason your Mac overheats or dies.

We do not promise your Mac will never get warm. We do promise sensible safeguards: LidRun watches battery and thermal state and steps back before things get risky. We will never tell you to seal your Mac in a bag or block its airflow. Keep it on a hard surface, keep it cool, and let LidRun handle staying awake.
